i got another 3550emi a couple of days ago... i know, it's not a 3560 but those are expensive... the new 3550 will allow me to do just about everything for ccnp, except private vlans... for that i'll just have to use work equipment...
i installed 3 4506-e's today, replacing the older boxes that didn't support in line power... it went very well... mostly just scraping the other configs, with a few adjustments like tengig uplinks...
in this link you can download the tshoot topology... https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/thread/10965 ...now that i have the second 3550 i will begin to mimic the ipv4 layer 3 topology as best i can, using the addressing, naming convention and diagrams... i'll probably avoid the layer 2/3 topology mostly because of frame, which there really isn't any mention of in the switch ocg...
future posts will reference this topology in my home network...
