well most of it... yesterday while i was jerking around with vmware on my linux box, having difficulties making it work because of an opengl problem, i managed the unthinkable... be afraid, be very afraid dicking around with low level nix shit... of course i hadn't backed anything up... the recovery turned into a reinstall...

in the end, just getting the os back becomes a blessing...

some 1500 hours of notes and labs from the last year are gone...

the bright side:

there is this site, a chronicle, not a repository, but the important things can be rebuilt... like this, which i rebuilt this morning, up to ospf...
