never thought of this one for the lab... (actually i'm getting a 2nd internet hookup this week for lab access to the internet; more on that as it develops)
a frequent poster on cln came up with this idea for simulating an isp in your lab, or gns3 topology... his name is joshua and his posts are very good... you should check out some of his responses there...
"if you want to simulate multiple internet routes, just create a load of loopbacks on the ISP router and configure them to all be on different subnets."
of course the isp router being one that you simply designate as such...
i can't believe i hadn't thought of this before... yet another great way to utilize loopbacks for testing...
